Capturing the Fear of the Lord for a City…

“This is certainly no time for weak men, weak messages and week ministries. What is needed is moral strength and courage and uncompromising proclamation of the truth that will set people free” – John MacArthur

Join us this weekend July 1-3 a sacred fast for our city to capture the fear of God to see a great outpouring of Gods Spirit.

Our Why: Summer Harvest 2023 – 2024

Justice and Mercy (salvation) are two sides of the same coin. For some salvation and others severe judgment.

1. That we agree with the justice of God to put an end to the evil culture we see:

“Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, go down; For the winepress is full, The vats

overflow— For their wickedness is great.” Joel 3:13

2. That we agree with the mercy of God unto salvation:

“Another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud,

“Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” Revelation 14:15

Vision and Mission: We are creating spiritual inertia for a citywide canopy of Prayer to be the fuel for the summer of harvest 2023/ 2024 unlike we ever have seen and into next year with even more glory of harvest of souls Summer harvest events include but not limited to:

Below are notes taken from John Bevere’s new book “The Awe of God.” While reading it the Lord has shown my wife Jodi and I a newfound sense of what is the Fear of the Lord while demonstrating little golden nuggets along the way.

Here are some notes to reflect upon:

“Only when we are captured by an overwhelming sense of all and reverence in the presence of God will begin to worship God in spirit and truth. “ Allstiar Begg

If the fear of the Lord isn’t preached and taught we may a love for Jesus but still stumble in sin because of a lack of reverence and holy fear of God. We don’t gain Jesus trust by simply believing in him at salvation but we must be a friend of God. “Friendship with the Lord is reserved for those who fear him and He makes known to them His covenant” Psalm 25:14

“The secret of the sweet satisfying companionship of the Lord have they who fear revere and worship him and he will show them his covenant and reveal to them it’s deep inner meaning.” Psalm 25:14

Let’s do a double take on our “fear perception” of God and get a new holy awe perspective.

The fear of the Lord will make us clean for His purposes. “The fear of the lord is clean and enduring forever.” Psalm 19:9

Therefore, having these promises beloved that is to cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and the spirit perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2 Cor 7:1

“Work out your salvation with fear and trembling for this God who works in you both to will and to do for his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:1213

Obedience to the Lord – ( My compromise has led to a warm fuzzy relationship with little or no power to heal and set people free)

We must go higher by knowing the real truth whom is Jesus to be set free:

1. God is the one who knows what’s right for me.

2. God is pure love and I am the focus of his love.

3. God will never tell me to do anything that is detrimental.

4. No matter what He says I gladly choose to obey.

This is what Godly fear looks like:

1. Obey God immediately.

2. Obey God even if it doesn’t make sense.

3. Obey God even when you don’t see a personal benefit.

4. Obey God even if it’s painful.

5. Obey God to completion.

With this view in mind, for us individually, for our city, and the Church of America at large, below are our 3 Day Fast Instructions for Reflection I will be leading a live hour broadcast each of the 3 days at 8am however Holy Spirit desires using the scriptures below. Each person taking part is encouraged to seek the Lord in a personal “hidden” manner of deep humility, repentance, and prayer for at least 1 hour per day using the prayers and decrees below. Some are fasting food and water, and others are doing their own fast according to what the Holy Spirit lays on their heart.

Declare Victory in Who we are

I am a child of the living God. I am an heir of God how to join air with Jesus Christ. I am a new creation and Jesus and all things have passed away and all things have become new. I am a chosen generation of royal priesthood a holy nation. I am not under guilt or condemnation. I refuse discouragement because it is not of God. God is the God of all encouragement. There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

The law the spirit of life in Christ Jesus sent me free from the law of sin and death. I do not listen to Satan‘s accusations for he is a liar the father replies. I got up my loins with Truth.

Scent does not have dominion over me. I free from temptation But if I do send I have anadvocate with the father who is Christ Jesus. I confess my sins and forsake them. God is faithful and just to forgive me cleansing me from all unrighteousness. I am cleansed by the blood of the lamb. I am an Overcomer Because of the blood of Jesus and because of the word of my testimony. No weapons formed against me shall prosper and I shall confused every tongue that rises up against me and judgment. My mind is renewed by the word of God. The weapons on my warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. I cast down imaginations and every high thing that is a self against dollars a price. I bring every thought captive into obedience to the truth.

I am accepted in the beloved. Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.

Nothing can separate me from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus my Lord. I am the righteousness of God and Jesus Christ. I am not the sleeve of sin but if righteousness. I continue in this were true I know the truth and the truth sesame free. Because crisis set me free I am free indeed. I have been delivered Augusta Maine of darkness and now I’m fighting in the kingdom of God. I am not intimidated by the enemies lies. He has defeated.

For this purpose Christ came into the world to destroy the works of the evil one. I submit to God resist the devil. Do you have any fleas from me and terror because the Lord lives Michael in me. I give the devil no opportunity. I give no place to fear of man in my life. God has not given me a spirit of fear but of love power and a sound mind. Terror so I’m not come near me because the Lord is the strength of my life. He always causes me to try up in Christ Jesus.

In Christ I am the head and not the tail. I am above and not beneath. 1000 may fall at my side at 10,000 in my right hand and none shall touch me. I am seated with Christ in heavenly places for above all principalities and powers. I have been given power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing shall enter me.

No longer will the enemy oppress me. I defeat him by the authority to Christ has given me. I am more than a conqueror through Christ.

In Repentance and turning to the Fear of the Lord

A Call to Repentance

12  “Now, therefore,” says the LORD, “Turn to Me with all your heart,

With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” 13  So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the LORD your God,

For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness;

And He relents from doing harm. 14  Who knows if He will turn and relent,

And leave a blessing behind Him— A grain offering and a drink offering

For the LORD your God?

15  Blow the  [f] trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly;

16  Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders,

Gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber,

And the bride from her dressing room. 17  Let the priests, who minister to the LORD,

Weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, “Spare Your people, O LORD,

And do not give Your heritage to reproach, That the nations should  [g] rule over them.

Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’ ”

DAY 1 – CAPTURING THE FEAR AND AWE OF GOD

F-E-A-R G-O-D

F — Fear of God: Father, release the spirit of the fear of God into my heart (Ps. 86:11).

“Help me walk in a manner worthy of the Lord,  [a] to please You in all respects, bearing

fruit in every good work and  [b] increasing in the  [c] knowledge of God;  11  strengthened with

all power, according to  [d] Your glorious might,  [e] for the attaining of all perseverance

and  [f] patience; in joy.”

A — Adoration: Father, pour out Your love in my heart in a greater measure

R — Reverence: Father, grant me a new perspective of reverence for you. “ Do not let your heart envy sinners, But be zealous for the fear of the LORD all the day.”

Prov.23:17

G — Grace: Lord, Jesus, grant me great grace to walk out holiness in Your work of sanctification. “Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Phil. 2:12-13

O — Obedience: Lord, Humble me to have immediate obedience to You in my

life. “By humility and the fear of the LORD Are riches and honor and life.” Prov. 22:4

D — Discernment: Lord, allow my discernment to go higher as I lift my voice.

Confirm your word to us.

“My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, 2  So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; 3  Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, 4  If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; 5  Then you will understand the fear of the LORD,

And find the knowledge of God. Prov.2:1-5

In closing todays prayer time take our mission below and consider:

We are going to our King for a sacred 3 day pause to reflect in humility to pardon our sin, to implore an outpouring of grace for holiness and newfound fear of the Lord.

We seek the type of fear that makes us His friends again.

We are going to our King that He would reveal our secret faults and help us:

A) Where we haven’t given instant obedience even when it makes no sense

B) Obey Him when we don’t see personal benefit

C) Obey Him even when its painful

D) Obey Him unto completion

E) Ask forgiveness where we’ve gone against our conscience.

F) Where we’ve strayed from intimacy from Christ while in missions.

G) Keep Jesus and know His truth as supreme over my life

DAY 2 – LEARNING TO TRUST IN THE FEAR OF GOD

T – R – U – S – T

“The fear of man brings a snare, but he who trusts in the Lord will be protected.” Proverbs 29:25

T- Thank you: recognize the Spirit’s indwelling presence in you simply by thanking Him for it. Pray, “Thank you Holy Spirit, for Your bright presence in me. I love Your presence. Apart from connecting with You, I can do nothing that effectively (supernaturally) renews my love, sustains my zeal for righteousness, and releases revelation and power in my heart.

3 He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. (Jn. 15:5)

R- Release Revelation: ask (thank) the Spirit to release abundant revelation of God’s heart, word and purposes to you. Pray, “Holy Spirit, release abundant revelation in me”.

17 May give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him…

(Eph. 1:17)

U- Use me: ask the Spirit to use you more and more in the spiritual gifts to minister to others.

We pray, “Thank you Spirit, for releasing the manifestation of Your gifts and power through me

to help others”.

7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all… (1

Cor. 12:7)

S- Strengthen me: ask the Spirit to strengthen your mind, emotions and speech with His might. His power is already in us (Gal. 5:22-23) therefore, pray, “Thank you for the presence of Your love, peace, patience, and self-control in me” or “Thank You for warring against my flesh and guarding my speech”.

16 …To be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man… (Eph.

3:16)

T- Teach me: ask the Spirit to teach you about God’s will and ways that He may manifest His leadership in every issue in your life including finances, schedule, circumstances, emotions, physical body (diet, health), relationships, alignment of the people you are responsible for (in the home, office, ministry), future, greatness in God, opportunities with divine appointments, fears, addictions and shortcomings. Ask that He establish God’s order in your home, job and ministry. We pray, “Spirit, I love Your will and ways, therefore, manifest Your leadership in me”. He will give us new ideas, order our steps and open doors of opportunity for strategic alliances in each area of our life as we ask Him.

26 The Holy Spirit…will teach you all things… (Jn. 14:26)

13 The Spirit of truth…will guide you into all truth; He will tell you things to come.

(Jn. 16:13)

27 The anointing…abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things… (1 Jn. 2:27)

DAY 3 – FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD

F-E-L-L-O-W-S-H-I-P

E — Endurance: Strengthen my spirit with endurance to do Your will (Col. 1:11).

L — Light of glory: Father, let me see more of the light of Your glory (Ps. 4:6;

Ex. 33:18). “Many are saying, “Who will show us anything good? Lift up the light of Your face upon us, LORD!” Then Moses said, “Please, show me Your glory!”

O — One thing: I set my heart to be a “person of one thing” who regularly sits before You (Ps. 27:4). “One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the  [a] beauty of the LORD, And to  [b] meditate in His temple.”

W — Count me worthy: Strengthen me to have a worthy response to You in my life (2 Thes. 1:11). “To this end also I pray always, that God will consider me worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power.”

S — Speech: Set a guard over my lips that I may walk free from unclean speech (Eph. 4:29; Ps. 141:3). Set a guard, LORD,  [a] over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips.

H — Humility: Jesus, I want to learn from You how to walk with a lowly heart

(Mt. 11:29). “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND  [a] REST FOR YOUR SOULS.”

I — Insight (wisdom): Give me insight into Your Word, will, and ways (Col. 1:9–10).

“ 9  For this reason I also, since the day I heard about it, have not ceased praying and asking that I may be filled with the  [a] knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,  10  so that I will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord,  [b] to please You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and  [c] increasing in the  [d] knowledge of God.”

P — Peace and joy: Strengthen my heart with peace and joy that overpower fear (Phil. 4:7). “ 7  And the peace of God, which surpasses all  [a] comprehension, will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus.”

Pray The Good News of Salvation

61 “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me

To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to  [a] heal the brokenhearted,

To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

2  To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, 3  To  [b] console those who mourn in Zion,

To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness,

The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” 4  And they shall rebuild the old ruins,

They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities,

The desolations of many generations. 5  Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks,

And the sons of the foreigner Shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.

6  But you shall be named the priests of the LORD, They shall call you the servants of our

God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, And in their glory you shall boast.

7  Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs.

8  “For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery  [c] for burnt offering;

I will direct their work in truth, And will make with them an everlasting covenant.

9  Their descendants shall be known among the Gentiles, And their offspring among the people. All who see them shall acknowledge them, That they are the posterity whom the LORD has blessed.”

10  I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

11  For as the earth brings forth its bud, As the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, So the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations. Isaiah 61:1-11

Patriotic Decrees to be Declared during the Fast

The word Patriot comes from the Greek word meaning “father or from fathers” and so we honor the words and statements from our founding fathers such as:

“The reason Christianity is the best friend of government is because it’s the only religion the changes the heart. “ – Thomas Jefferson

“We have become too self-sufficient to proud to pray to the God that made us.” – Abraham Lincoln

“The foundations of our society and our government rest so much on the teachings of the Bible that it would be difficult to support them if the faith and his teachings weren’t universal…” – Calvin Cooledge

“The rights of man do not come from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God. “ – John F Kennedy

“When we forget that we are one nation under Go,d we shall be one nation under.” – Ronald Regean

Therefore together in one voice we make the following prayers and decrees as part of our time of fasting commanding the word woforward which they wrote…

PRAY OUT LOUD WITH AUTHORITY:

We decree that it is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God.

We decree that we recognize no sovereign but God and our King Jesus

We decree that American civilization is not in the power of government they established the capacity for people to self-government According to his commandments

We decree that the future in the success of America is not found it in our laws or constitution but in the laws of God on which the constitution was founded.

We decree that God keeps the Republic of America in his hands to overrule evil human intentions and to preserve us from destruction.

We decree we will not forget God and his gracious hand which has preserved us in peace, multiplied us and enriched us so bountifully.

We decree that the reception of the teachings of Christ results in the purest patriotism and fidelity of public trust which is the best type of citizenship.

We decree that the knowledge of the Bible is worth more than all other education training.

We decree we will never forget we are one nation under God.

We decree that life is in the power of these words and we shall eat the fruit there of Proverbs 18:21

And we decree that America shall be saved from the tyrannical, and Gods justice shall be seen in the greatest revival awakening of souls for His Kingdom in this generation in Jesus name. Amen
